FAQ

Q. What is the server IP and what version is your server on?

A. You can join our server using the IP join.forlorn.city. Our server version is 1.20.1 with ViaVersion and ViaBackwards support.

Q. What is your server about?

A. The Forlorn City is a Minecraft Factions server that uses the Lost Cities mod to generate a 5008x5008 overworld that is entirely abandoned city. Many buildings are similar to vanilla Minecraft structures in that they have loot chests and mob spawners within them. The goal of the server is to slowly rebuild the city back to its former glory. However, this is entirely up to how cooperative everyone wants to be. Either way, it will be fun to see how far we can get!

Q. Does your server have Voice Chat?

A. Yes! We use the Simple Voice Chat plugin, allowing anyone with an installation of Simple Voice Chat to talk to others on the server. This mod is not a requirement to join, but available for players who would like to use it. A. Yes. If you would like to apply, please fill out this form.

Q. Who can I ask if I have any more questions?

A. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

Rules

1. Disrespect and discrimination of players will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban.

2. Any forms of hatred or bigotry will also result in a permanent ban.

3. Exploits or hacking will result in a permanent ban.

4. No advertising, spamming or general annoyance of other players will be tolerated.

5. Griefing is prohibited and will result in punishment up to and including a permanent ban.

6. PVP is allowed, however trapping of players in order to kill them, regardless of location, is prohibited.

7. Redstone contraptions are allowed, but Admins can and will dismantle them if they are found to cause server lag.

8. These rules may be modified over time, so please check /rules on the server every so often.
